Impeachment, Joe Biden and Rosemont Seneca

I want to start by saying that I'm not a fan of Trump, I didn't vote for him... and I think he can be revolting at times. His childlike explanation of things irk the hell out of me. Its easy to say terrible things about the man, but like it or not, he doesn't appear to be as dumb as people think.

Currently developing in the latest effort to depose President Trump, the Media is ablaze with indignation. An Impeachment meeting is scheduled for 4pm today (September 24th 2019) on the grounds that Trump utilized his executive position to leverage the Ukraine government to investigate Joe Biden's son for corruption.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and several Freshman Congressmen are behind the push.

"The President of the United States may have used his position to pressure a foreign country into investigating a political opponent, and he sought to use U.S. taxpayer dollars as leverage to do it. He allegedly sought to use the very security assistance dollars appropriated by Congress to create stability in the world, to help root out corruption and to protect our national security interests, for his own personal gain." Whats particularly troubling or at least ironic is that on January 23rd 2018 Biden is speaking on video record at a Council on Foreign Relations meeting: "I said, 'Youre not getting the billion.' I'm going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: 'I'm leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you're not getting the money." (Source)

This was a statement in reference to the successful firing of Ukrainian Corruption Prosecutor Viktor Shokin in 2016. What isn't mentioned is that Viktor Shokin was leading an investigation in to the firm Burisma Holdings, of which Hunter Biden is a Board Member. Complicating things further; Hunter is also in control of a D.C. Based firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, which was receiving payments from Burisma to the tune of $166,000 a month from spring 2014 to fall 2015. A time when Presidential Hopeful and former Vice President Joe Biden was the top U.S. Official negotiating Ukraine/Russian relations. (Source)

When I looked into the matter I found that Rosemont Capital was formed and had ties with fairly interesting people with even more interesting connections. Hunter Biden, son of Former Vice President and 2020 Hopeful Joe Biden and Christopher Heinz, stepson of Former Secretary of State John Kerry and Devon Archer created Rosemont Capital in 2009. This firm had connections with James Bulger (Nephew of Mob Hitman James "Whitey" Bulger) through the Thornton group (Run by James Bulger) while brokering a deal in China under Rosemont Seneca Partners (a separate legal entity owned by Rosemont Capital). After three separate meetings, one in 2010, 2011 and a final deal in 2013 Rosemont was able to secure a deal with China for around $1.5 billion forming the new fund Bohai Harvest RST. These deals came rather quickly after Joe Biden Met with Chinese President Hu as part of a Nuclear Security Summit and opened up US-China strategic talks with Chinese Officials.

Whats troubling about these particular connections is that the newly created fund Bohai Harvest has been accused of connections with a Chinese military firm (AVIC) responsible for stealing technology used in drones and the F-35 stealth fighter to be used in China's own military weaponry. The Henniges company dual use military vibration technologies usurped by AVIC was a deal approved by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the same government entity that approved the Uranium One deal to Russia. A much better run down of all this can be found here. It goes into much greater detail about the Biden/China connection.

If this all is not enough, consider that Devon Archer was convicted in June of 2018 by the Department of Justice for fraudulent issuance and sale of more than $60 million in bonds. Devon, John Galanis and Becan Cooney were convicted of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and securities fraud while with the firm Burnham Securities, Inc.. Bet you can't guess what firm is now a part of Burnham Securities, Inc..... That's right Rosemont Seneca Advisers. Rosemont Seneca Bohai (the offshoot of Rosemont Capital) is listed as holding company in a May 2016 SEC complaint of defrauding investors in Native American tribal bond scheme. That complaint is the same complaint that lead to the June 2018 Conviction of Devon Archer. (Source) (Source-2)

What is important here is corruption. If the President is using this as political leverage its not exactly a very polite strategy. But I'd be lying if I told you I didn't think his request holds a lot of merit. Is it legal? I'm honestly not sure, but I hardly believe its an impeachable offense. Its complicated further by the fact that Joe Biden used his political leverage and withholding money from the Ukraine in very much the same way. To impeach Trump for using financial aide in pursuance of national security to investigate corruption... while leaving so many unanswered questions about Joe Bidens use of financial and political leverage, seemingly, to facilitate corruption is going to give a lot of people the red ass. Given the current socio-political climate in the US, I'm not entirely sure that's a smart idea. Never mind the obvious blind eye that would need to be turned to former President Obama and all the high ranking State Officials associated with the debacle that is Hunter/Joe/Rosemont Capital. I'm not sure that these Never-Trumpers really want to open up these impeachment hearings. Looks to me like Trump has things on lock for 2020.
